  Unfortunately, I had an attack of Diverticulitus, ended up with a perforated colon and had surgery 2 days into the vacation and then spent an additional 6 days un the hospital. My family left on Wednesday of our week.

  My son and his family, and my wife came for a week at the beach, The facility was better than expected, a corner apartment with a porch and the breeze never ended on the shaded porch. The facilities were excellent and the weather was perfect all week.
  Shalimar had it down to a point that there were 3 carts available to move all your stuff up (on the elevator) to the floor.
  The property was very clean and well maintained.
  The property is right on the beach but just a couple of minutes to any attraction and restaurant in the area.
  We even found some of the best bagels at the Bagel Dock just up the road.

  There were a few items not working in the rental unit, but Cherry Grove Vacations did a great job helping to get these fixed and even gave us a small refund on our rental cost due to the inconvenience. They are great to work with and I would recommend staying with them anytime.
